animal products and not tested on animals, many items will also be
organic and/or Fairtrade.
ANIMAL AID - www.animalaid.org.uk
A campaigning organisation founded in 1977 to work, by all peaceful means, for an end to animal cruelty. It aims to educate the public, particularly young people, to a sense of responsibility towards animals and promotes a lifestyle that does not involve the abuse of animals through its 'Living Without Cruelty' campaign. Has a Youth Group called Youth 4 Animals www.youth4animals.com
The Animal Aid stall will have books, vegan sweets and chocolates, toiletries and T-shirts for sale. Free veggie and vegan recipe booklets and free stickers for children.
ANIMALS ASIA FOUNDATION - www.animalsasia.org
The Foundation is devoted to the needs of wild, domesticated and endangered species throughout the Asian continent. Their mission is to "improve the lives of all animals in Asia, end cruelty and restore respect for animals Asia-wide." Education is a very important part of their approach - creating inspired grass roots programmes within the community, which spark far-reaching change in people's attitudes, motivating them to co-exist peacefully with animals. Part of their website is for children ( Kids Site ), with ideas for teachers.
Merchandise for sale will include T-shirts, notelets, Moon Bear soft toys and key-rings. Free literature will be available on their campaigns, including their China Bear Rescue Project, which aims for the closure of all bear-bile farms in China before the Bejing Olympics.
CAGE (Coventry Against Greyhound
Exploitation)
CAGE is a local group campaigning to raise awareness of the cruelty of the greyhound racing industry.
Will have Greyhound Action mugs and T-shirts for sale and greyhound portraits. Free leaflets and postcards.

DR HADWEN TRUST FOR

Started in 1970, the Trust is a registered charity dedicated to finding replacements to the use of animals in medical research and is now the country's foremost non-animal medical research charity.
The Dr Hadwen stall will have animal-free and non-animal tested toiletries, cosmetics and chocolates for sale, as well as vegan recipe books, notelets and Christmas cards. 'Bargain Baskets'. Free leaflets and magazines about the Trust's ground-breaking work.

A vegan company offering a wide range of products for spiritual enhancement and those who seek to live a peaceful respectful life. Will be selling jewllery, greeting cards, CD's, incence, essential oils and many other items, which also make great gift ideas.

Fair Trade retailer in women's clothes (such as Nomad Originals) and accessories including skirts, tops, bags, belts, scarves and jewellery. All items are imported by companies recognised by BAFTS (British Association for Fair Trade Shops).
FARM ANIMAL RESCUE - www.farmanimalrescue.org.uk
Run by two dedicated volunteers to raise desperately needed funds for local farm animal sanctuaries. Will be selling good quality bric a brac.
NUNEATON AND WARWICKSHIRE WILDLIFE SANCTUARY - www.warwickshirewildlifesanctuary.co.uk
Since opening six years ago, the Santuary has taken in thousands of birds and animals. Injured and young wild animals are nursed back to health and then released back to the wild. The sanctuary also takes in mistreated, unwanted and abandoned domestic animals. The stall will have handmade scarves and notelets for sale and a quiz for children.
THE ALGERNON TRUST ANIMAL SANCTUARY- www.thealgernontrust.org.uk
The Trust rescues domestic and wild animals including foxes, cats, dogs and chickens. It will be selling soft toys (badgers, squirrels, rabbits), T-shirts (including stunning fox designs), hand-made cards, pewter animals and pins.
VIVA (Vegetarians International Voice for Animals) - www.viva.org.uk
Campaigns to raise awareness of the plight of billions of animals across the world reared and killed for food and also the associated environmental destruction, damage to human health and contribution to world poverty. VIVA has carried out many hard-hitting undercover exposes and has a huge commitment to youth education.
Goods for sale will include mugs, pencil cases, vegetarian nutrition charts, wallets, badges, soft toys, t-shirts and vegetarian doggie treats. Will also have the famous and popular Solihull Animal Aid Recipe Book (all recipes veggie/vegan) on sale. Free literature on vegetarianism, factory farming, veggie recipes.

There will also be masses of free information (leaflets, booklets, magazines) and stickers for children, from other organisations such as PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), BUAV (British Union Against Vivisection), Animal Protection Agency, Uncaged, Animal Defenders, etc.
ANIMAL MASK WORKSHOP
1 to 3 pm - A workshop for children making animal masks using recycled materials. The workshop, which was a huge sucess last year, will be run by Sarah Hedley, who is experienced in organising Art Parties for Children.

SAMPLES
Tasters include various flavours of veggie burgers and sausages, mock 'cheeses' with olives and pineapple, mushroom pate on crackers, slices of hot 'Polony', falafels with home made soya yoghurt/mint dip, mushroon and nut balls with homemade tomotao sauce and sizzling tofu with home made lemon and pepper sauce.
